Synopsis:
Liam, a young man with a passion for speed, is riding his motorcycle through a lonely road when he loses control and crashes violently into a tree. Everything vanishes. When he awakens, he is not in the hospital or in the world he knows; instead, he finds himself in a mysterious and vibrant city, full of unfamiliar places and people.
It is in this strange setting that he meets Evie, a girl with a warm smile and eyes full of life. From the first moment, Evie seems to know more about Liam than he knows about himself, guiding and encouraging him to enjoy this “new life”. Through laughter, adventures and profound moments, Liam falls madly in love with her, finding in Evie a unique and powerful connection.
Eventually, they decide to get married, and while at the altar, just as he is about to pledge his undying love to her, it all fades away again. Liam opens his eyes, frightened and disoriented, to realize that he has been in a coma all this time. He’s back in the hospital, surrounded by family and friends, but he can think of only one thing: “Where’s Evie?”
With a broken heart and an inexplicable emptiness, Liam understands that Evie was more than an illusion in his coma; she was a reflection of his own fighting spirit and the strength that kept him alive. Though she may not exist in the real world, she will always be his “life and breath,” the reason to keep going.
