synopsis: Dimension of Oblivion:
As Gabriel and his team go deeper into the dimension, they encounter a landscape that seems to twist reality itself. The laws of time and space are different there; days and nights blend together, and each step seems to disorient them further, as if the ground itself wants to keep them trapped.
After several days, the team finds an abandoned village, built with materials that do not belong to any known culture. The houses are decorated with symbols carved in stone that emit a faint glow and seem to change shape when not looked at directly. While exploring the dwellings, the team finds traces of people who appeared to be in the midst of their daily activities… but their bodies are nowhere to be found. They do, however, find remnants of scrolls and carved figures representing a strange cult, dedicated to “The Guardian of Oblivion.”
Isabelle, the mystic of the group, feels an unusual connection to these symbols. The images awaken memories and visions she does not understand, as if from another life. Soon, she realizes that some symbols are linked to her own personal fears and traumas, bringing her deepest nightmares to life. Each member of the group begins to experience the same thing: visions of their past, mistakes they wish they could forget, and people they thought they had left behind.
The skeptical Mateo tries to rationalize what they see, convinced that they are hallucinations caused by gases in the atmosphere or lack of sleep. However, when he encounters the vivid memory of his late brother, he begins to question his sanity. The dimension seems to feed on everyone’s deepest secrets and emotions, forcing them to confront each other in terrifying ways.
Finally, Sofia, the linguist, manages to decipher part of a message in the scrolls they find. It says something about a “memory ritual,” a kind of ceremony the cult performed to seal their memories in this world and free themselves from them. The translation warns that those who failed in the ritual were consumed by the Guardian, who “devoured their memories” and turned them into shadows without identity, wandering the dimension for eternity.
Desperate to escape, the team decides to attempt the ritual to protect themselves from the Guardian. Each member must face their most painful memory and release it, leaving it behind in the dimension. But as they prepare, Isabelle has a disturbing revelation: perhaps the ritual is not about abandoning their memories, but accepting every part of them. Perhaps the real danger lies in trying to forget…
