Title song: Divided Seas
Synopsis: The island and its trials.
The mythical island, like a living entity, feels the arrival of the Tempest. Its defenses intensify, creating strange phenomena at sea: storms that seem to move with a will of their own, whirlpools that devour entire ships and a heavy air that seems to whisper secrets in the ears of the crew.
The island is not only alive, it plays with them. Each sailor begins to experience visions that reflect their deepest fears or darkest ambitions. This atmosphere begins to undermine the morale of the crew.
The Pursuers: Hunters of the Abyss
As Alistair and his crew struggle to reach the island, another danger lurks on the horizon: the Chasers of the Abyss, a group of ruthless pirates led by Kael Ardens, a former rival of Alistair. Kael is known for his cunning and ruthlessness, and he is also after the map that leads to the island. According to Kael, the island holds a power that could make him invincible, and he will not allow Alistair to claim it.
Kael and his crew have an ace up their sleeve: a magical device stolen from an underwater temple that allows them to track Alistair’s compass. As the Tempest sails toward the island, the Abyss Hunters close in fast, facing the same trials the island presents them, but with unrelenting brutality.
The rebellion on board
However, the real danger comes not from the outside, but from within the Tempest. While Alistair’s compass guides the ship, fear and despair begin to sow discord among the crew. Some sailors, exhausted by the visions and the oppressive atmosphere, begin to question Alistair’s leadership.
The leaders of the rebellion
Gregor, the second in command, is an experienced sailor who has always been loyal to Alistair, but the influence of the island begins to affect his judgment. Gregor believes the map is a curse and that they must leave before they all end up dead.
Rhea, a young cabin boy with hidden ambitions, sees the rebellion as an opportunity to prove her worth. She allies herself with Gregor, but her loyalty is superficial, and in reality she seeks to get hold of the compass to give it to Kael, with whom she has made a secret pact.
The critical moment
The rebellion reaches its climax one night when Gregor leads a group of sailors to take control of the ship. They directly confront Alistair, Isabella and Morgana. During the mutiny
Gregor accuses Alistair of being a madman obsessed with the island, willing to sacrifice the entire crew.
Rhea attempts to steal the compass during the confusion, revealing her true colors.
Morgana, weakened by the constant use of the compass, invokes a spell to protect the Tempest, but the effort endangers her life.
Alistair’s decision
With mutiny unleashed and the Abyss Hunters closing in, Alistair must make an impossible decision:
Surrender the compass to save the crew and negotiate with Kael, risking losing access to the island.
Confront the mutiny by force, punishing the rebels, but losing the unity of the crew at a critical moment.
Isabella and Morgana try to advise him, but they have opposing views:
Isabella suggests negotiating and using logic to keep the crew alive.
Morgana, connected to the island’s energies, insists that abandoning the voyage would be the end of everyone, as the island does not forgive those who back out.
