Synopsis: The Price of Revenge
Thorlund meets his adoptive mother, the witch who raised him after the death of his parents.
She appears at a critical moment, confronting Helvár to protect Thorlund and his allies as they attempt to cross the threshold of the fortress gate.
Revelation of an important secret: the witch confesses that Helvár’s power comes from a dark bond with his birth mother. This bond can be broken, but at a very high price.
The emotional relationship between Thorlund and the witch intensifies: she has been his mother at heart, and her words fill Thorlund with determination.
Scene 3: The battle against Helvár
The fight begins. Helvár reveals himself as a being transformed by dark energies, imposing and almost invincible.
Artifacts play crucial roles:
The ring opens a shield of protection.
Drengrsvard’s sword wounds Helvár, but it is not enough to destroy him.
The Soul Talisman amplifies Thorlund’s power, but threatens to consume him.
Scene 4: The Witch’s Sacrifice
When all seems lost, the witch uses a forbidden spell, summoning a masterful power that destroys Helvár’s magical protection.
The spell is too much for her, and her last words to Thorlund are a blessing and a warning:
“Vengeance may fill your heart with fire, but never forget for whom you fight, my son.”
Her death fills Thorlund with rage and grief, but also clarity. This sacrifice drives Thorlund to use the three artifacts in harmony.
Scene 5: The decisive moment
Thorlund combines the power of the artifacts and manages to defeat Helvár, destroying his essence and freeing the souls trapped in the fortress, including that of his birth mother.
A final spiritual encounter between Thorlund and his birth mother. She embraces him and tells him:
“Your strength comes not from vengeance, but from the love you carry in your heart.”
Epilogue: The Gateway to the Future
“Although the sun was rising over the liberated land, Thorlund knew that in the shadow of every victory, there always remains something that has yet to be revealed. And he wasn’t sure if the price he had paid was enough to close that door.”
