Chapter 6 – The Hunter and the Shadow
Dawn brought arrows.
The king no longer wanted blood. He wanted control.
Eirik and his pack were hunted down, not by soldiers
but by hunters of men.
The combat was brutal. The message, clear:
Alrik doesn’t want dead. He wants answers.
Wounded, sheltered in the darkness of a cave, the warriors debate.
Bjorn cries out for revenge.
Sigra plans with an edge.
Eirik… hesitates for the first time.
And then he appears.
Skjoldr, a stranger with the voice of destiny.
“If the king wants you alive, it is because he does not yet know who you are.”
Eirik’s shadow is older than his exile.
And his true origin… is about to awaken.
